Extra nice hand made bowie with leather case. Note in the case reads; "Field made knife made by Philiip LaRocca 19th US Infantry during the Spanish American War 1899 to 1902. Carried in the Battles of Cebu and Panay. La Rocca was wounded by a Moro spear at Cebu 1901". Blade is 6 inches, handle is 4 inches, very heavy with brass. Field made case as well fitting the knife. Philippine Insurrection. Knife is heavy at 11 ounces.
